Hello neighbors & friends, With the wonderful Deering Center Garden Ramble wrapping up our spring season of events, and preparations for Porchfest beginning, we make our annual summer appeal to you, our neighbors and friends, to help us continue our neighborhood works by making a tax-deductible donation to DCNA. Over the past year, we hosted the Spring Cleanup, World Trails Outdoor Film Night, Memorial Day Procession & Commemoration, Porchfest, Tree Lighting, Garden Ramble, and Winter Solstice Gathering. We launched three new initiatives, the Neighborhood Gift Guide, Stevens Avenue Vision & Improvement Committee (SAVIC) and the Neighborhood Business Collective (NBC). And we regularly supported non-DCNA neighborhood events, activities and businesses throughout the year. Powered 100% by (awesome) volunteers, we were able to accomplish quite a bit in our efforts to foster a sense of connection and belonging among neighbors and friends in this place we call home. We’re excited to continue this work, and need your grassroots support. We ask you to consider a small monthly contribution, though all gifts are warmly appreciated.
