THANK YOU to 40+ neighbors who joined us April 28th at the DCNA Annual Spring Gathering, “Neighbors Connecting - Who Are We And Who Do We Want To Be?” It was a wonderful afternoon of conversing, getting to know each other, and sharing thoughts, ideas & visions. We’ll continue the process of reaching out to neighbors for thoughts, ideas & visions, as well as continuing to support and host events that help cultivate our community in Deering Center. Attached are pics of what was contributed at the Gathering, and desserts that were brought (along with some recipes)!

ORIGINAL INVITE: Hello neighbors, our Annual Spring Gathering, “Neighbors Connecting - Who Are We, And What Do We Want To Be?” is this Sunday April 28th at 5pm at the Deering Center Community Church at 4 Brentwood St (corner of Brentwood & Stevens). We warmly invite you to join us. Click here for the agenda.

Over food and drink, share your thoughts, values and vision for the neighborhood, and hear your neighbors’. Explore together what we love about Deering Center, what could be improved, and what we want it to be.

As a respected and vibrant organization, DCNA has decided to update and rewrite our mission statement. We want your input to help chart our course. With so many unique and wonderful Deering Center neighbors we want to hear from you!

Bring your family, bring a friend! Free pizza and drinks, bring your own dessert & recipe (we’ll share all the recipes on our website and on social media). Join neighbors for important conversations in helping chart the direction of the neighborhood.
